Looking Back (A Letter from the Editors)

Looking Back (A Letter from the Editors)

Well, here we are in a new, crisp season.

Summers in Montana always fly by. And while we’re here for the fall fashion and the art of layering — and the Nora Ephron films — we also want to take a moment to acknowledge how far we’ve come.

Our summer was one of the busiest yet, complete with new challenges, creative events, and so many beautiful moments. We couldn’t have done it without our customers.

So without further ado, here’s what a Meridian Summer looked like for us (and for you!):

  • Meridian Men dressed Montana for its first summer and had its first birthday!
  • We hosted a beautiful dinner with the SEA New York team, complete with a gorgeous dinner and private shopping event.
  • We launched a curated vintage collection with the help of our new vintage buyer, Alicia. In fact, our second men’s vintage drop is in the store now. More updates to come here, but stop by to find a one-of-a-kind heirloom piece to add to your collection.
  • We relaunched our online shop with some curated men’s and women’s collections (Share the news with your favorite family and friends who want to shop from afar!).
  • We hosted the one-and-only Stephanie Quayle for an intimate in-store performance and signing of her new memoir. This was a wild one — we couldn’t believe how good it felt to have live music in the shop, and we plan to announce a new exciting project soon…
  • We added all sorts of new brands to our shelves and racks at both Meridian Boutique and Meridian Men with even more coming this fall. Think: Filson Women’s, DOEN, Norse Project, Barbour, and so many more

There’s so much worth celebrating in that list, and your ongoing support means that we can continue to try and do new things through fall and beyond. And believe us, we’ve got much, much more coming, including a big Filson Women’s event next month

That’s all we’ll say for now, but keep an eye on your inbox to be the first to hear the news!

And now that we’ve got all that out of the way — let’s get into the latest issue of The Fine Line, which we’re calling Falling Forward. It’s our tribute to what we’re looking forward to in the coming season, from new team members to our current favorite trends.
